Active in Western Colorado, the Valley Food Partnership serves as an intersection of local agriculture, food, the economy, and health with the mission of strengthening the well being of all community members. Partners include farmers, ranchers, parents, health professionals, restaurateurs, educators, non-profits and community-based organizations. Project examples include Montrose Farmers’ Market, numerous community gardens, farm to school, Local Farmacy Rx, the Western Colorado Food and Farm Forum, Eat Local Eat Healthy, and Savor the San Juans. Join our “Eat Local Message Board” on Facebook to keep abreast of local food news and events, to promote your farms’ special offerings, or simply to barter and network with like-minded Western Slope locavores. If you eat, you’re in!
