Active in Western Colorado, Valley Food Partnership serves as an intersection of local agriculture, food, the economy, and health with a mission of strengthening the regional food system and community well-being through education, access to quality local foods, and promotion of sustainable agricultural practices. Partners include farmers, ranchers, families, health professionals, restaurateurs, educators, nonprofits and community-based organizations.

Project examples include Cultivating Farmers and Ranchers (a beginning farmer, rancher development program), Montrose Farmers’ Market, Local Farmacy Rx (education and food prescription program with local food incentives), the Western Colorado Food and Farm Forum, and the Regional Food Systems Partnership. Check out the Lovin’ Local Food Guide to find fresh local food and help us build a secure, vibrant food system.
